Angel is from Tegucigalpa and lived with his mother, father and a younger sister. He came into the ministry because of possible abuse and was in the streets. Angel is a very bright young man with a great smile. He is very friendly and outgoing.

His favorite colors are red and black and his favorite foods are fried chicken and pizza. He enjoys playing soccer and video games. Real Madrid and Barcelona are his favorite soccer teams. He says that he would like to work with computers. He asks that you pray for his family. He entered the ministry in April 2013.

Carlos Daniel Martinez Meza

Carlos Daniel lived with his mom in Tegucigalpa before going to IHNFA, where he stayed for about 3 months before coming to the ministry. He has 11 other siblings that live with his mother. He was in the streets a lot collecting empty plastic bottles to sell. Most of the days he would be out on the streets from 5:30 a.m.-10:00 p.m. He had never been to school and did not know how to read. Carlos Daniel is a very sweet boy and is a big help with the younger boys in the ministry.

His favorite color is blue, and his favorite food is pizza. He likes to swim and play basketball. His favorite classes are English and Music. Carlos wants to be a soccer player when he grows up. His favorite Bible verse is Romans 3:23. He has requested prayer for his family and his friends that live with him in the ministry. He entered the ministry on December 27, 2011.

Carlos Laureano Espinoza Rodriguez

Carlos comes from El Paraiso, Honduras. His family is very poor and he has 7 brothers, 3 of which are in the ministry (Beto, Jorge and Daniel). His mother would work all night (on the street) and then sleep all day which left the boys unsupervised and running in the streets. Carlos has used some drugs and vandalized. He is a very sweet young man but has very low self esteem.

His favorite foods are fried chicken and pizza. His favorite color is black and he loves to play guitar and listen to music. Carlos says that someday he would like to be a Christian counselor or psychologist. He has asked for prayer for his family, the ministry, his studies and all the boys. He re-entered the ministry on January 4, 2011.

Cesar Augusto Sanchez Ferrifuno

6/19/95

Cesar is from a broken home in Danli, Honduras. He lived with his grandparents and one brother, Daniel, who is in the ministry as well. His grandfather's wife was abusive and the boys ran to the streets. They used drugs and huffed glue, often sleeping in abandoned houses and parks and would steal to have money to live on. Cesar also has a cousin, Edwin, in the ministry. Cesar is very intelligent and quick to learn and has a great personality.

His favorite colors are red and white. He loves to play soccer and likes all kinds of foods. He says that one day he would like to be a doctor. Cesar has asked for prayer for his family and for himself, that he would stay healthy. He entered the ministry on May 27, 2004.

Cristhofer Paul Salgado Ardon

Cristhofer is from Danli, Honduras. He lived with his mom and worked out in the fields. Cristhofer is avery sweet and quiet young man who loves to be helpful any way he can.

He likes to watch TV and play basketball. His favorite colors are red andyellow. Cristhofer’s favorite foodis fried chicken with french fries.

He has asked for prayer for his family, that nothing would happen to them in the streets and for himselfthat he will do well in school and that nothing bad will happen to him. He entered the ministry in February,2015.

Cristian Alejandro Erazo Zelaya

7/16/97

Cristian is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He and his brother, Wilfredo, also in the ministry, lived with their grandmother after being abandoned by their parents. Their grandmother worked all day and could not take care of the boys and so they were in the streets playing with friends and would return home late at night. Cristian has not used drugs and is a bright young man, who is eager to please.

His favorite food is hamburgers and his favorite color is pink. He likes to play soccer and is in university studying to be a PE teacher. Cristian has asked for prayer for himself and his family. He entered the ministry Nov. 25, 2009.

Daniel Humberto Sanchez Ferrifuno

Daniel is from a broken home in El Paraiso, Honduras. He and his brother Cesar (also in the ministry) lived with grandparents. The grandfathers wife was very abusive and they ran to the streets, huffing glue and using drugs and stealing. Their mother abandoned them and their father is an alcoholic. Daniel is a very bright young man and quick to learn. He is currently studying at the public university.

He loves to play soccer. He has learned a lot of English and says he would maybe like to be a doctor someday. He has requested prayer for himself. Daniel entered the ministry in May 2004.

Daniel Moises Serrano

Daniel lived in Tegucigalpa in extreme poverty and was taken out of his home by IHNFA. His father drank a lot and would get physically abusive and would not give the mother money to buy food for the children. He has one younger brother, Duglas and an older sister, Nancy, that are in the ministry as well. Daniel is very shy and quiet.

He likes to read and play soccer. His favorite color is yellow and his favorite food is fried chicken. Daniel says someday he would like to be a fireman. He has requested prayer for his family. He entered the ministry on March 16, 2011.

Dany Fernando Hernandez Rivera

10/26/2001
Dany is from a very poor family in Orica, Honduras. He has 2 brothers and 1 sister. He lived with his mom, who prepared food to sell to the local workers in the community and his dad was killed when he was a baby. At times his mom didn't feed him so he would go out to the streets to look for food, sometimes he stayed out there for days. Dany's mom dropped him off at IHNFA.

Dany is a sweet boy, he has beautiful green eyes but is insecure and anxious. He loves to play soccer, take naps, and help out on the farm. His favorite color is red and he likes typical Honduran foods like rice and beans, grilled pork, avocado, and plantains. His favorite class in school is History, and is favorite soccer team is Atletico Madrid. He wants to go into the military when he grows up. Dany has asked for prayer for his family, who he has only seen once in the last several years. His favorite Bible verse is Mark 15:26. He entered the ministry on January 31, 2012.

Duglas Alfredo Serrano

Duglas lived in Tegucigalpa in extreme poverty and was taken out of his home by IHNFA. He has one older brother, Daniel, and an older sister, Nancy, that are also in the ministry. Duglas is very shy and doesn't talk much, but can be a prankster.

In school he likes learning about science. Duglas' favorite color is black and his favorite foods are cake and any kind of fruit. He likes to play soccer and says someday he would like to go into the military. He has requested prayer for his studies. He entered the ministry on March 16, 2011.

Emerson Aronis Baca Funez

Emerson is from Monte Redondo, Honduras. He lived with his mom, brothers and sister and extended family as well. His younger brother, Joel, is in the ministry as well. His dad was killed when Emerson was about 11 and his mom wanted them to have a better life.

Emerson is a quiet and shy young man, who helps look after his little brother. His favorite colors are red and blue and his favorite animal is a lion. He likes to study Math in school. His favorite food is refried beans. He likes soccer and his favorite team is Real Madrid.

Emerson has asked for prayer for his family, that nothing bad would happen to them or to him and for the people that are in the streets that don’t have a roof over their head or food to eat. He entered the ministry in February, 2015.

Gerardo Antonio Lopez

Gerardo comes from Danli, Honduras. He lived with an elderly poor grandmother before coming to the ministry. He has an older brother, Samy, and an older sister. He was running in the streets all day and coming home in the evening. Gerardo's mother was killed by gang members 2 months before he entered the ministry and he has never known a father. He is a very smart young man and is a lot of fun to be around.

His favorite foods are Corn Flakes, steak and beans. His favorite color is red and he likes playing soccer and watching TV. Gerardo entered the ministry on June 20, 2008.

Golver Moises Valle Valle

Moises is from a poor family in La Laguna, Honduras. His father is an alcoholic and was very abusive when drunk. His mother took him and his 2 brothers, Brayan and Lesther (who is also in the ministry), and left home for fear of their lives. The boys say that their father had killed a baby sister. Moises is a smart young man but sometimes can be very withdrawn.

Moises loves any snack food and his favorite color is blue. His favorite thing is when there is an activity away from the farm where he can get away and have fun. Moises says that one day he would like to be a fireman. He has requested prayer for his mom and dad. He entered the ministry on June 4, 2007.

Jefry Jose Ruiz Rodas

Jefry is from Tegucigalpa where he lived with his mom and stepdad and 4 brothers and sisters. They were always left alone when the parents went to sell eggs and often were in the streets. He was picked up by IHNFA, the child government agency. He has suffered some physical abuse. Jefry tends to be a loner and is insecure but has adjusted well into the ministry.

His favorite color is blue and he loves when the cooks make typical Honduran food like grilled pork, rice, beans, and plantains. He likes to play soccer and basketball. In school, Jefry likes to study Math. He wants to be a scientist when he is older. He entered the ministry in March 2012.

Name:Joel Isaías Baca Funez

Joel is from Monte Redondo, Honduras. He lived with his mom, brothers and sister and extended family as well. His older brother, Emerson, is also in the ministry.

His dad was killed when Joel was very young, and his mom wanted he and his brother to have a better life. Joel is very quiet and shy, but is very talkative and playful once he forms a bond with someone.

He likes to play tag and ride bikes. His favorite color is yellow, and his favorite food is pancakes. He falls asleep while playing or sitting still! He entered the ministry in February, 2015.

Pray for Joel as he learns about the love of God and the love of those caring for him.

Jonathan Isaac Soto Garcia

Jonathan is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He lived with his mother, 5 brothers, and his sister Fabiana, who is also in the ministry. He was able to attend school regularly before entering the ministry, and is one of the youngest in his grade-level.

Jonathan loves to swim and ride bikes, and wants to be a policeman when he grows up. His favorite color is red and his favorite food is pizza.

He asks for prayer for his family, specifically for the safety of two of his brothers who are in gangs. He entered the ministry in March, 2015.

Jorge Manuel Espinoza Rodriguez

4/5/99

Jorge is from El Paraiso, (or Paradise) Honduras. He comes from a very poor family and has 6 brothers, 3 of which are or have been in the ministry (Daniel, Beto, and Carlos). Their mother worked in the streets at night and slept during the day, leaving the boys to run in the streets. At a very young age Jorge was stealing and smoking and begging for money. He is a very bright young man that learns quickly.

His favorite food is fried chicken. His favorite color is red and he likes to play soccer, drums, keyboard, and any games. He enjoys learning computer programming and says that one day he would like to be a systems engineer. Jorge has asked for prayer for his family and all the boys in the ministry. He entered the ministry on April 21, 2005.

Jose Daniel Mejia Funez

Daniel arrived to FCM from a ministry in Comayaguela that had recently shut down. He and his younger sister (who could potentially come to FCM later) lived with an aunt before they were placed in their first ministry. He had very little interaction with North Americans at his previous ministry, and enjoys meeting the teams and learning new English words.

Daniel’s favorite color is green, and his favorite food is pizza. He loves to ride bikes, swim, and play soccer. He has some difficulty learning, but works hard in school and has a desire to do well. Daniel joined the ministry in March 2017.

Lucio Joel Avila Talavera

8/29/95

Lucio is from Danli, Honduras. He sometimes lived with his mother and sometimes with his father. His mom died when he was 7 years old. He was very sick and taken to the hospital with epilepsy and was abandoned there. Once he was well enough to leave, they contacted the ministry about taking him in because they feared that in a government run institution he would die. When he came, he barely walked, had little hair and chalky colored skin. After just 2 months of proper care, he came to life! One of the first things he did was to sing praise songs to the Lord. He is a miracle and blessing to the ministry.

His favorite food is pizza, and his favorite color is yellow. He likes to play soccer. He has asked for prayer for his studies and for his health. He entered the ministry on July 20, 2005.

Luis Ernesto Lopez Matute

Luis is from Tegucigalpa and lived with his mother. He has 2 brothers, one of which (Elias) is in the ministry as well and 2 older sisters. Their father abandoned them and went to the states to live many years ago. Luis' mother wanted to give him and his brothers a better life and an education so she brought them to FCM. Luis has a great personality and always smiles and currently is studying at the public university.

His favorite food is chicken and rice and his favorite sport is soccer. His favorite color is blue and he likes to study. Luis has asked for prayer for his spiritual growth. He entered the ministry on July 23, 2004.

Joel is from a broken home in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He has a younger brother, Nelson, who is also in the ministry. Their mother abandoned them to go live with another man. Their father could not cope with the situation and committed suicide. The boys then went to live with an aunt before coming into the ministry. Joel craves attention and affection and has some anger issues.

His favorite food is refried beans. His favorite color is blue. Joel likes to play soccer and take naps. He says that one day he would like to be a pilot or a pastor. He has requested prayer for his family. Joel entered the ministry on March 19, 2010.

Melvin is from Tegucigalpa. He has 1 brother and 2 sisters. He lived with his dad and doesn't know his mom. He was told she ran off when he was very young. Melvin was in the streets hanging out with friends and was put in IHNFA. He had been there for 3 years before coming into the ministry. He says he did not use drugs or smoke.

Melvin's favorite color is blue and his favorite food is pizza. His favorite class is art. He enjoys playing card games and making bracelets. His favorite soccer team is Barcelona. He says when he is older, he would like to be a lawyer. His prayer request is that, when something is bothering him, he can still behave well. His favorite Bible verses are Psalm 5:3 and Psalm 96:1-7. Melvin entered on November 28, 2013.

Rivaldo comes from a very poor home in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He lived with his mother and has younger twin brothers, Ezequiel and Addail, who are in the ministry as well. Their father abandoned them when they were very young. The mother could not take care of them and brought them to FCM for help. They were all very malnourished and very scared when they first came. Rivaldo has adjusted pretty well but is very quiet at times. He is a very bright young man.

His favorite food is grilled pork and his favorite color is blue. He likes to play soccer and is an excellent goalie. Rivaldo has asked for prayer for his family. He entered the ministry on May 18, 2009.

Roberto Carlos Avila Moran

Roberto is from Tegucigalpa. He has 6 brothers and sisters. His father was killed when he was 5 years old. Roberto was frequently in the streets begging for money. He was taken to IHNFA in July of 2012. He is very outgoing and loves to practice English. He is very sweet and loving.

His favorite thing to study in school is English and his favorite color is blue. Roberto's favorite food is pizza. He does NOT like chocolate. He enjoys swimming and riding bikes. His favorite soccer teams are Real Madrid, Olympia, and Honduras. He says one day he would like to be a professional soccer player. His favorite Bible verse is Job 11:18. He entered the ministry on September 20, 2012.

Wilfredo is from Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He and his brother, Cristian, also in the ministry, lived with their grandmother after being abandoned by their parents. Their grandmother worked all day and could not take care of the boys and so they were in the streets playing with friends and would return home late at night. Wilfredo has not used drugs. He is a very sweet young man and smiles all the time.

Wilson Joel Soto Martinez

Wilson lived in Talanga, Honduras, with his parents, brother, and sister. Because of issues involving his father, he and his siblings were sent to live in a ministry in Tegucigalpa, where he attended bi-lingual school and learned English. The other kids in that ministry were picking on Wilson's little sister, so he got into several fights defending her and had to leave the ministry. He has found a home here with us and is very intelligent, but still working on fitting in with the other boys. His brother, Yoni, and sister, Maria, are with the ministry as well

Wilson's favorite color is blue, and his favorite class in school is art. His favorite food is grilled chicken, and he likes to play basketball. He says he would like to be an ER doctor when he grows up. He asks for prayers for his brother and sister. He also asks for prayers that he would behave well and not get into any more fights, and for God to take care of his mother. Wilson came into the ministry in July 2015.

Yefri is from Olancho, Honduras, where he lived with his mom, dad, and two brothers. He used to work with his father and brothers and says he did not attend school because there was not one close by.

Yefri's favorite color is yellow, and he loves to swim and play soccer and basketball. His favorite food is pizza. Yefri likes to study English in school, and says he wants to be a policeman when he grows up. He asks for prayers for his family. Yefri entered the ministry in July 2015.

Yoni Francisco Soto Martinez

3/23/2002

Yoni came to our ministry in July of 2016. His brother Wilson was already living at Finca Grace. Yoni and his siblings grew up north of Talanga and at a very young age both father and then mother abandoned them. Yoni remembers very little of his mother and even less about his father. The siblings lived in 2 other ministries before coming to FCM. Our prayer is that these siblings will grow spiritually as they learn to cling to one another and lean on the FCM family. Pray Yoni will learn to claim God as his heavenly father.

Yoni's favorite color is red and his favorite food is Pizza. He loves riding bikes and playing video games.
